Business Development Managers


BlackBee Investments are currently seeking Business Development Managers to join a successful business development team in  Cork, Dublin & Galway Offices.

BlackBee Investments is an Investment Firm with offices in Cork and Dublin. The company designs innovative investment products and solutions for Financial Advisors, Credit Unions and Institutions across the country. We are seeking to expand our distribution capability in the Dublin, Galway and Cork areas through the various channels. Currently expanding our Business Development team, we are looking to appoint highly motivated professionals with experience driving sales and increasing revenues.

The successful candidates will take responsibility for promoting the Company’s investment offerings by managing and expanding a network of pension and investment intermediaries across the Broker network.

These positions are being offered on a permanent full-time basis.

Responsibilities will include

  • Developing and maintaining a book of clients across the Broker network.
  • Establish and develop potential pipeline through sustained prospecting and activity.
  • Achieve agreed strategic targets in line with the rest of the Business Development Team.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements in all aspects of day to day work and the Company’s internal policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a high awareness and knowledge of the market, including industry competitors and internal activities to ensure that all business opportunities are identified.
  • Work closely with the rest of the Business Development Team and communicate accurately and efficiently with other teams (e.g. Operations, Marketing, Product Development) as required ensuring that customer issues are resolved to their satisfaction.

Key Requirements

  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in a Financial Sales environment
  • Minimum of QFA designation
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain solid relationships
  • Proven track record delivering excellent client/customer service
  • Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Office particularly
  • Proven track record in meeting and exceeding targets
  • Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills
  • Sales driven with ability to meet and exceed targets
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Full Clean Driving Licence
