Donal Lenihan

Donal Lenihan has over 30 years’ involvement in the banking and financial services industry having worked in a variety of roles with the Industrial Credit Corporation, Investment Bank of Ireland and Irish Life and Permanent.

Donal was involved in providing finance for manufacturing companies through funds provided by the European Central Bank. His experience also includes commercial and residential lending with both IBI and PTSB. He also set up his own financial services company specialising in residential and commercial lending and insurance related products.

Running parallel with his business interests, Donal also brought his considerable management skills to bear in the professional sports arena, managing the Irish rugby side for two years before taking up a similar role with the British and Irish Lions for their tour of Australia in 2001.

Donal is a renowned sports journalist, rugby commentator and analyst.
