Regulatory Reporting Manager

BlackBee is a dynamic and innovative financial services company, headquartered in Cork. It has established a new role for a Regulatory Reporting Manager to support the Firm in meeting its prudential regulatory reporting obligations. The company embeds a tech- driven and client-centric ethos and seeks to recruit an employee who shares those values, has the ability to find innovative solutions and is passionate about adding value.


  • Drafting a universe of the firm’s regulatory reporting obligations
  • Process mapping existing reporting obligations
  • Horizon scanning of new regulatory developments to identify forthcoming changes to the firm’s regulatory reporting obligations, and ensuring that these requirements are met
  • Maintaining strict attention to detail and meeting regulatory reporting deadlines
  • Accurately preparing and submitting required reports and further detail to regulatory authorities, as required
  • Advising on the firm’s regulatory reporting obligations to stakeholders within the business


  • 5+ years working in a Prudential/regulatory reporting role in the financial services sector;
  • Experience working with MiFID regulated entities and/or funds is highly desirable


  • An undergraduate degree in business administration, Finance, Accountancy or a related discipline
  • A postgraduate or industry qualification is preferable

Personal characteristics of suitable candidates

  • Strong working knowledge of key compliance and regulatory topics, including MiFIR, AIFMD, ESMA guidelines etc.
  • Ability to understand and interpret regulations and regulatory guidance and apply same
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills required
  • Ability to take ownership of role and work under own initiative is key
  • Candidate must be:
    • Attentive to detail;
    • Flexible and capable of working across multiple legal entities;
    • innovative and solution-driven;
    • Results-orientated.
