Brad is a Finance Manager at BlackBee. Prior to joining BlackBee, Brad held a senior financial position in an Irish Healthcare business where he gained significant operational and commercial experience. Previously, Brad spent a number of years working with KPMG, most recently as a Manager in the Deal Advisory division of the firm where he provided both buy side and sell side advisory services on M&A transactions.Brad is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a B.B.L degree in Business and Legal Studies from University College Dublin.

Kathryn PrendergastChief Risk Officer
Kathryn joined BlackBee in July 2019. Kathryn has extensive risk management experience having gained exposure to global international banking standards and best practice working within the European and international regulatory environment.
Prior to joining BlackBee Kathryn worked for nearly 5 years in the banking supervision arm of the European Central Bank (Single Supervisory Mechanism) with responsibility for supervising some of the most significant credit institutions in Europe. In addition, Kathryn spent 6 years working in the Central Bank of Ireland in both financial stability and banking supervision roles.
Kathryn recently completed the Professional Diploma in Applied Alternative Investments with the Institute of Banking (IOB), a recognised college of UCD. Additionally, Kathryn holds an Executive Masters in Risk Management from the IOB as well as a MSc in Financial Economics from UCC. At an undergraduate level, Kathryn holds a BA from UCC with a major in Economics.
Donie DalySales Director
Donie is the Sales Director for BlackBee Investments, responsible for growing and managing business development across Ireland.
He is responsible for opportunity management, driving growth and key account planning within the business development team.
Donie has over 30 years of financial services experience and has worked for some of the largest financial institutions in the country and brings a wealth of investment product knowledge along with an in-depth understanding of the intermediary market.
Donie is a Qualified Financial Adviser (QFA), Specialist Investment Adviser (SIA), a Member of the Irish Institute of Pensions Management (MIIPM) and has a Degree in Business Management.
David O' Shea

David is responsible for the overall management of BlackBee. He has spent the last 20 years working as a trader and portfolio manager, developing knowledge and expertise in the asset management industry in Ireland, Italy and Switzerland. David’s experience covers bond, equity, currency and alternative investments. He brings a proven track record of managing a wide array of investment products and success in developing investment portfolios for clients. David holds a Masters Degree in Economics and Finance.
Tracey KielyOperations Supervisor
Tracey is the Supervisor on the Operations team at BlackBee Investments and is responsible for all investment applications, agency agreements, encashments & bond maturities, including processing all bonds and ensuring adherence to AML for all applications.
Tracey’s previous experience includes a Supervisor role within the Transfer Agency in Bank of New York Mellon. She has experience of servicing Global Funds namely Equity, Money Market and Hedged Funds.
She is currently studying to become a QFA through the Institute of Banking. She graduated from Cork Institute of Technology with a Level 8 Bachelor of Business degree.

Tom McCabeSenior Investment Strategist
Tom has over 20 years experience in the areas of investment strategy and asset allocation research, multi-asset portfolio management, investment manager selection and equity research.
Prior to joining BlackBee Tom was Global Investment Strategist at Bank of Ireland’s (BoI) wealth management unit and was responsible for asset allocation and tactical decision making for its multi-asset portfolios managed on behalf of high net worth and mass affluent customers.
Tom was awarded the CFA charter in 2006 and holds Masters degrees in Financial Economics and Investment and Treasury Management from NUI Maynooth and Dublin City University respectively.

Niamh LeahyHead of Investment Operations
Niamh is the Head of Investment Operations at BlackBee where she oversees the Firms Operations teams. Since Joining BlackBee in 2015 Niamh has played an integral part of implementing the Firms Issuance programme and Funds platform.
She has worked on some of BlackBee’s largest transactions to date including two of the largest “Alternative Asset” investment issuances in the country.
Niamh’s experience encompasses various aspects of an Investment Firm such as Operations, Investments, Sales, Issuance of Securities and trading on some of the major global markets. She has been involved in all of the Real Asset products offered by BlackBee, specifically within Healthcare, Commercial Property, Hospitality & Green Energy Sectors.
Niamh has over 10 years’ experience within the financial services sector and has vast experience in a number of fields including Banking, Accounting, Reports and Project Management.
