Kathryn joined BlackBee in July 2019. Kathryn has extensive risk management experience having gained exposure to global international banking standards and best practice working within the European and international regulatory environment.
Prior to joining BlackBee Kathryn worked for nearly 5 years in the banking supervision arm of the European Central Bank (Single Supervisory Mechanism) with responsibility for supervising some of the most significant credit institutions in Europe. In addition, Kathryn spent 6 years working in the Central Bank of Ireland in both financial stability and banking supervision roles.
Kathryn recently completed the Professional Diploma in Applied Alternative Investments with the Institute of Banking (IOB), a recognised college of UCD. Additionally, Kathryn holds an Executive Masters in Risk Management from the IOB as well as a MSc in Financial Economics from UCC. At an undergraduate level, Kathryn holds a BA from UCC with a major in Economics.
